The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has successfully resolved a significant majority of cases related to anti-competitive practices and abuse of dominant positions. As of February 28, 2022, the CCI had received 1180 cases under Sections 3 and 4 of the Competition Act, disposing of 1046 of them. This means 88.64% of all cases filed have been concluded, with a small fraction being overturned by courts. The CCI continues to implement various initiatives to ensure fair competition in the market, including market studies and advocacy efforts.

This was stated by Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs Shri Rao Inderjit Singh in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
