Memorandum submitted against CGST Commissioner for wrongful detention of 60-70 CAs

Members of the Institute of CA from Gurugram, Haryana have submitted a memorandum about Commissioner CST Sector-32 Gurugram for wrongfully restraining,and wrongfully confining and illegal detention of around 60-70 Chartered Accountants.

Official statement released by GST dept on CAs arrest in Gurgaon

2 CAs were arrested on 18.05.2022 and have been remanded to 14 days judicial custody by the jurisdictional Court. Investigations are continuing for tracing the beneficiaries of the refunds and the role of the officers, if any.
