Working from india having company in us

I have a US green card and I jhave firm in US. I do software contracting. I am now based in India. For tax planning purpose I first pay tax in US as it where the my US firm gets billing and then I file the income in India and pay the differential tax using the taxation treaty. Is this the correct way?

Thanks

Arvind

Whether Mr. Patil is an NRI or Indian Resident is not clear. Also the firm in US is a propreitorship or an LLC or what....................

The answer shall depend on these facts.
