One cool feature on Windows 7; I am not sure if this is offered on other Windows versions.
Click on Start button and enter 'Record' in search box. One of the options that will come up in search results is 'Record steps to reproduce a problem'. Click on this and a tool bar will come up. You can use this tool bar to record sequence of actions on your computer. Stop when you are done recording. The output file is a html file that has a record of all actions your performed including screenshots.
This should be a great help for creating test evidence or user help documents.
You can open the html file in MS Word also. In order to see the entire screenshot, change the page orientation to Landscape and page size to A3.
