The minimum wage as per the Central Government’s rural employment policy for a manual worker under employment scheme is Rs.120/-. So the ICAI has to think whether the fate of a CA Trainee is lower than a manual worker. And In Kerala wage of worker in construction field is Rs.250/-day.

During my articleship the stipend was Rs.400/- p.m. for 1st year,Rs.600/- p.m. for 2nd year & Rs.900/- p.m. for 3rd year. Additional Rs.300/-p.m. if cleared PE-II.
I think the stipend should be increased for an article studend from present Rs.1500/- p.m.

As per my view a peon of C.A Office get minimum 4000. And a assistant get 750/1000/1250. So Student ko apni aukaad dekhar Peon say baat karney chaiya...Sayad institute yehi baatna chah raha hai.
