Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether rent paid for a car parking space can be claimed as a tax benefit. The consensus is that it's generally not eligible for tax deductions unless it's a perk from an employer or directly related to a business or profession. If you're a business owner, you might be able to claim it as an expense if the car was purchased for business purposes and the parking is an ancillary cost wholly and exclusively for that business.

No. Not eligible, unless you be getting any such perks from your employer, or have any income u/h. PGBP.

If you are a business owner / professional and can show that car is purchased for the purpose of business and ancillary expenses are made wholly and exclusively for the purpose of business/ profession, you may be able to claim expense. Claim has to be substantiated on facts in case of query.
