We are registered Service Tax Payer on Goods Transport by Road. Now we are renting an immovable commercial property on Rent.
Do we have to get our registration amended for this new service ?

Dear Mr. Vikash,
Yes, you are required to amend your service tax registration within 30 days from the provision of new service. (as per law) Else, general penalty of Rs.10, 000/- may be levied.
Note: Generally, i have seen no instance where Department levied penalty for delay in amending the registration beyond 30 days
