we are and indenting house representing many overseas cos and sell their metals scraps products to indian importers and users. We get commission from our overseas principals in usd which gets credited in our bank. 100% of our commission recd is in foreingh currency. Is service tax applicable if total recpt is abv 10lakhs. Yes, Service tax is applicable on commision recived from NTT as you are acting as intermediary. Refer rule 9 of POP rules, 2012.

With effect from 1st Oct,2014 "intermediary" is covered under POPS rule 9
