Section 10(13A) & 24(B) benefit can avail together
I am a salaried person and living in rented house & want to buy a house in same city. Can I get benefit of both HRA under section 10(13A) as well as Interest payment under section 24(B). If yes which ITR I need to file for getting so.

U can avail benefits of both the section only if u r residing at rented residential property and not in own house.... And for principal payments u can avail 80C Also
For Salaried Person ITR 1 is to be filed for AY17-18 & AY 16-17.
As house will consider as let out property.

Yes if u r receiving rental income from let out... It is ur income from house property... In income tax u hv the option to one house as self owned and others at rental
