I am a Final student appearing in May,2011 Examination. I am bit confused as to whether we have to study Standards on Auditing (SA) or Auditing and Assurance Standards(AAS).Or whether it is sufficient to just quote the SA and writing the content from the erstwhile AAS? Please advise me.

Go for SA's...
I find that that in the Institute latest Advanced Auditing Compilation only SA number was quoted but the content was taken from AAS in the chapter on Standards on Auditing . Clarify me on the same.
