Revised cancellation norms of Train Tickets w.e.f 01.07.2013

 

1.       For Confirmed Tickets

 

The Cancellation charges would be as under

2.       For RAC/WL tickets full refund would be permissible after deduction of clerkage if the ticket is presented for cancellation within 3 hours of actual departure of train. No refund of fare shall be allowed after three hours of actual departure of the train. For trains leaving between 2100 hours and 0600 hours, refund shall be allowed upto 2 hours of opening of Reservation Counters.

 

3.In case of e-tickets (confirmed or RAC), if the reservation charts have been prepared, o­nline TDR is required to be filed for obtaining refund. No refund of fare shall be admissible o­n e- ticket having confirmed reservation in case the request for refund is filed o­nline after two hours of the actual departure of the train.

 

4.No refund of fare shall be admissible o­n RAC e-tickets in case the request for refund is filed o­nline after three hours of the actual departure of the train.
