Register as a new user at traces

Try once again,if same happen call to helpdesk.

Recently filed means..? You have to wait 15 days from date of filing to request for Form 16/16A.

You can check 'Statement status' under Statements / Payments tab in Traces login. The status should be Filed successfully with defaults or without defaults.

First of all, TDS Return filed on 13.05.2017 and hence i tried to register in traces to get TDS Certificates.

As you replied, i have to wait for 15 days from the date of filing TDS Return for REQUEST. BUT my question is HOW to register in TRACES???

I filed thuru TIN-Faciliation centre for the first time.

You will be able to register only after your return is successfully processed. Register as new user under deductor tab. If your first return is processed the registration window will open. follow the steps. you can't move to next step without entering mandatory fields in the current step. keep the token number issued by Tin FC and also the deduction list handy. it will ask for details from these two documents. If you use DSC then download DSC utility from traces. Wish you success.
