Help,

E- Filed income tax return for the A/Y 2009-10, which have been sent to Bangalore. Have claimed refund. Even went to Mayur Bhavan to ask about it, but the authorities there said that Refund will be paid by Bangalore Authorities and they have not yet updated their data. The assessing officer Is ITO ward 46(4). When asked about how much more time will it take to get the refund, they told they have no idea. Cant they do anything??? Plz tell me what can i do??? what is the reasonable time to receive the refund??

yes the problem is there with refund processing with e filing , so we are not e filing returns with refunds now ...........It may be on time in future...hope so...

Dont Worry..... refund will be sent to you as directed by you i.e. by cheque or ECS, you may call IT helpline No. for refund purpose, or you can check the status of Income Tax Refund online also (Form 26AS or otherwise)........ you may send mail to Income tax Authorities asking for refund.........
