Student should refrain themselves from these kind of posts. There one and only motive should be to earn knowledge at any cost. Yes, I agree that these kinds of posts may prove to be motivational for some students but it is not the only thing. Getting RANK in CA exams is definitely a big achievement for a student but still I think that it is not the only criteria for a successful professional life. These placement announcements and package deal sounds well but ultimately it is the application of knowledge which is going to give you success in your professional life.

CA exam patterns are changing but still not enough practical oriented. I would also like to say one thing to each and every student that you can also get rank in CA exams if you study regularly without failing to put the efforts. Having knowledge of a section and knowing how to use it is not a big different game but still some distance is there which will be closed in as you keep on working.

Getting rank in CA exams will give you a good start in your carrier but as you progress further it completely depends on your performance because in market after appointing you people are no more interested in your professional academic achievements, they want their job to be done in time and in allotted cost.

So, dear friends concentrate on your studies but try to mould yourselves in a practical oriented manner.

Yes Purely agreed with Deepak.

Yes friends so many are going after the package and salary. But am sure, one day we can earn a lot of money, if knowledge is there then money will follow automatically.

So plz try to gain the knowledge , i can say CA is the great knowledge of treasure.

Even we have a lot of knowledge and wisdom but one more line is there still to know and to gain. Its like such a big ocean.

So go after that valuable knowledge rather than Packages.

I am sure some may not feel good of my words, please excuse if so.

But great to hear of the rank holders achivements , definitely it is the anormous achievement.

In a course like CA, u need regular motivation. And what can be more inspiring than future prospects after completing course.

I think it is perfectly alright to post such topics as it boost the will to clear the course. Atleast i feel charged up every time i see such post.

i also agree with Deepak that we ALL Have to go For the knowledge only and the money follw the excellance ..........

BPCL is a PSU their Salary is aprox 10 Lakh PA CTC at a Scale of 24500 ,if anyone get the job in BPCL they cant get more then 10 Laks even he is 2nd rank holder or pass in 4th attemp without rank.  It does not matter in PSU.

There has been a lot of talk on the placement and the salary. I can tell you one thing is that if you get a rank you are respected very much in the job market. Regarding the package and placements of first 3 rankers:

1. Rank 1 - Finally got into Mckinsey - Offcampus - Package around 12 lacs

2. Rank 2 - BPCL - Package - Around 11.5 lacs

3. Rank 3  - Finally got into CITI bank - Package around 13 lacs

Is only rank holder get placement during Campus Selection ?

Is it true to get the placement, one should be passed in first attempt ?

its not like that .......... in my contact one passed in Nov 2010 in 6th attempt ....... got placed in Bank of India with 6.78 lacs per anum package ....

I mean kya dono group ek saath nikalne par hi placement milta hai campus se

i posted this just to share and not to show  "Any Difference of values that a simple pass student and a Rankholder gets at Campus" ......... and this is not written anywhere in my post ....
