An insurance company can generally claim ITC of IGST or CGST/SGST charged by mobile repair centres, provided the repair service is used for business purposes and all conditions of Section 16 are fulfilled. The exact ITC eligibility may depend on whether the insurer directly receives the invoice/service or merely reimburses the policyholder.
