Hi friends! I have completed LL.B in 2008. I have experience of one year in indirect taxation (central excise and service tax). Presently, I am pursuing with CS. I have cleared one group of Executive program of CS. I am more interested in non-litigation matters. I am thinking of changing the field and to practice as a CS in future. Is it a wise decision of changing the field as I have no experience regarding the Company Secretarial work? Which field is more lucrative?? Taxation or CS?? How much stipend will I get in 15 months training in Mumbai??? Bcz to start again from the bottom would be difficult for me. Should I join as a trainee to practicing company secretary or to any company??? What is the difference between MT and PT????

As you have already completed you LLB I thing CS + LLB will be an excelent copination. Once you attain some 6 years of experience you can easily try and get for GM Legal or VP cum CS. As far as I know it is you who has to take a decision on what subject you want to make your career. I can only tell you one thing once you complete your CS , its not necessary that you will do only CS work. You can do both taxation and CS works which is really great.

Thisi is my view :)

Thx Jithesh for your reply
