I have purchased a flat on 9th sept 2023 to save on capital gains tax on sale of anchestral house. The agreement was registered in 7th Dec 2023.

Kindly clarify whether date of booking or the date of agreement is taken for the cooling period of three years for resale of the flat as per the IT rules.
