Thank you all. I think I have got the replies on my query. However one more question please. Even if I do not get NRI status, but receive Residence status in Thailand, by staying more than 180 days, since both the countries have Double Taxation Agreement, can I pay my entire worldwide tax in Thailand? I shall expect the reply from a person, thoroughly experienced in the Income Tax profession
yes .. you can pay your entire world wide tax in either Thailand or India and can claim relief under DTAA in India or Thailand respectively. I'm not a expert in income tax profession.. responded to your query based on my minimal income tax knowledge

he's not leaving for employment mam but to setup new business. hence the proviso will not applicable
What happens if in the new business I am the full time Managing Director and draw a monthly salary
in that case you can be considered as non resident

business is totally different from employment mam... a person can run any number of businesses whereas he can work for salary under one employer only
