if deceased person has income after date of death, should it be shown as spearate header "others - income of deceased " or should their savings or fd income be added to self's saving interest and fd interest and shown?

i mean like say i have interest of 10000 and deceased has income form savings interest as 5000 then do i show in my itr interest from savings as 10000 or 15000 and if i have to show as 10000 then the where do i show the 5000 of the deceased?
Income up to the date of death goes in the deceased's own return filed by the legal heir under Sec 159; interest accruing after death belongs to the estate and, once the heirs succeed to the deposit, each heir shows his share as ordinary interest in his own return (add it to your interest), unless an executor administers the estate, which is then assessed separately under Sec 168.
