I  am paying an EMI in Bangalore and now that i stay in chennai in a rented  house , can i claim both, thanks in advance

You are paying EMI for your own house in Bangalore and rent for the house taken on rent in Chennai.

So you can claim both interest on home loan u/s 24 & replayment of principal u/s 80C 

and benefit of rent paid under deduction from HRA received.
