A good news for PE-2 students further extension of PE-2 if any will be announced in June 2010 . this is not rumor . this is the reply i got for my mail from sirc Chennai.

it will be really a great news if icai extends pe-2 attempts. those who could not avail of extension may will utilise it.

impossible bhai.... institute ney pehle hi saaf kr dia last notification main that they will not extend any attemp..... I wish that these type of romours end here only

Considering the %age of pass outs from PE-II in last few attempts, I feel, it is better to get transfer to IPCC even if the Institute gives the extension.....

I doubt guys......

When i wrote e-mails to the BOS Noida, i was categorically told that PEII will not be extended under any circumstance...Anyways i am attaching the reply sent to me by the Addl Secretary BOS. Draw your own conclusions......

Dear Student,

As per the announcement dated 10th Augst, 2009 (link : https://www.icai.org/post.html?post_id=4841&c_id=121) last PE-II exam will be held in May, 2010 and thereafter no further extension of PE-II exam will be granted under any circumstances.

Students after discontinuation of PE-II exam have to convert to IPCC exam. In order to have continuity of their attempt, students so converted were relaxed 9 months study course period as per the announcement dated 5th Feb. 2010 (link: https://www.icai.org/post.html?post_id=5453&c_id=121) but these students have to complete their 100 hours IT training and 35 hours Orientation Programme before appearing for the first time in IPCC exam.

Students who have passed one of the group in erstwhile Intemediate (para 2A of schedule B)/ PE-II/PCC will get paper wise exemption (and not group wise exemption) have to appear and pass remaining papers under "Unit Scheme".

As per IPCC Regultions, student can start his/ her articled training for 3 years on passing minimum Group I of IPCC exam. (PCE route students articled training is 3 and half years).

thats what i said dude..... dont dream that ICAI will give more attemps...... even it will be curse for may 2010 result..... if under any case they extended the attemp.... then institute will again manipulate result... like done 2 one year ago (when istitute brutly pospone result for 2 days for manipulation by not giving any notice whatsoever)

If ICAI gives some more attempts to PE - II student is better, because decrease in result considering the 3 attempts result.

C) LEAVE CA YAAR

D) SATISFY WITH SMALL JOB.

THESE THINGS ARE WANDERING IN MY FRIENDS MINDS

HOW CAN I CONVEY THEM

THEY ARE BRILLIENTS.THEY NEVER FAILED AND THEY MAINTAINED 60 TO 80% AVG ON EACH STAGE UPTO DEGREE.

BUT FIRST TIME THEY TASTE THE BITTERNESS OF FAILURE IN PE2.

THEY AFRAID TO TAKE DECISION , THEY FEEL THEY ARE USELESS,THEY DONOT BELIEVE THEIR THOUGHTS , THEY BLINDLY FOLLOW OTHERS SAYINGS.
