Can any one tell that how to get a duplicate copy of the Income Tax Return filed for the previous assessment years were paper return is made for the income tax!
Is there any way to get the duplicate copy of the ITR filed other than approaching the particular ward in Income Tax office!
Keep me clarified any solution to get the ITR!
If it is required for any loan or any other process. Then you have to approach only your local IT Circle.
Otherwise, i do not see a reason to scout for the duplicate copy, if you have filed your returns and paid IT properly.
Moreover i am not sure, whether IT department is validating whether the person is filing IT returns or not, eventhough he is supposed to do IT. Only in case of IT claims, i feel there is communication from IT department otherwise, you will not get any communication from IT department.
In india, for most of them IT is paid and self assessment is filed(not verified). Only in case of any litigation there are chances our self assessment will get scrutinised.
Hope now you will can take a decision whether to get a duplicate copy by spending time or paying some amount.

there is no way u can ger a duplicate copy of IT return, the department will not oblige u in any way,
