SEBI notifies new takeover regulations

Dear Friends,

Yesterday the market watchdog SEBI has notified the New Takeover Regulations SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011. The regulations shall come into force on the 30th day from the date of the publication i.e. from October 22, 2011.

You are requested to take note of the same.

As the regulations shall come into force on the 30th day from the date of the publication i.e. from October 22, 2011, hence the same would not be applicable to:

1. 1. November 2011 CA exams

2. 2. December 2011 CS Exams.

However you are further requested to wait for the clarification from the respective institutes.
