Change of name of a existing company with change in objects

First of all hold the board meeting to change the name and object and get the approval of board for changing its name. then check whether the new name you want to change with, exist or not as per the name guidelines issued by MCA i.e. the new name should not match with any other existing name or trade mark etc.an apply for approval of that name. Then hold an EGM where pass the resolution that the company want to change its name along with the object with an explanatory statement describing why the company want to change its name. after passing the resolution in EGM, file the requisite forms 23 and 1B with the concerned ROC. the name will be changed and the company will be provided with the amended certificate exhibiting the new name

 Process for Change of Name

1. Hold board meeting and consider about name change and change in object and authorise the CS for filing of Form 1A and Form no. 1B for change of name.
2. File form no.1A
3. On receipt of new name confirmation hold another board meeting for
   • Affixing date, time and venue of General Meeting for passing special resolution for

1.      Name Change

2.      Change in MOA

3.      Change in Articles

4.      Change in Object Clause of MOA

• Approve the notice of General Meeting 

4. Issue notice of General Meeting

6. Hold General Meeting and pass aforesaid resolutions
7. The special resolution so passed subject to the approval of Central Government.(Power has been delegated to ROC).
8. File form no. 23 within 30 days of Special Resolution.
9. File application to ROC for approval of name change in form no. 1B
10. After the ROC issued the certificate for change in name incorporate in MOA and AOA and all documents, invoices, bills letterheads, signboards, share certificates etc.
11. Advertise the name in the Newspaper
12. Intimate all the concerned authorities(Bank, Creditors etc)
13. Arrange for the new common seal and adopt it in properly conducted Board Meeting.

Yes it is also applicable to Private Compnaies.

Whether an existing Private Ltd company having main object of real estate could be changed to any other object? Is there any  precaution need be taken in the procedures or else.
