dont do ca, do bcom y to take ca n ruined valuable life on this course which has no value n salary of ca r equal to bcom so left ca frnd thats my advice do bcom n ENJOY LIFE
CA requires an attitude of "I will never quit", if you don't have it better you quit now. And with all due respect to the ones who compare B Com to CA, you have no idea how foolish you sound.
P.S- I too am looking for a job for 4 months now so don't think I have everything, and nor did I clear in one attempt. PCC- 3 attempts, final- 2.
dont do ca frnd do BCOM... bcom is best, in ca no job less salary more stress nothing to gain only to loose...
Ya,bcom is better than CA. You can do anything and you will get good job in some call centre. What will you do with the skill set acquired in CA when u can be unskilled labour of US companies after bcom. The only drawback of doing bcom is wherever u will still be below a CA.
My only advice to all my Fresh Ca's is that pls be patient.....i understand that it is very hard to sit idle at home after you qualify as a CA....even i had gone through that pain for 50 days after clearing CA on 19th July2012......but pls be patient dont undermine and degrade yourself and dont go for jobs with less salaries......wait fr the gud opportunity to cum to u.....this is only a temporary phase.....and last but not the least dont post such negative comments bcoz it will badly effect the CA student who are struggling hard to clear exams.....
@ ADMIN please if possible delete this kind of posts especially during the exams time as these kind of posts if read by the students will disturb there minds badly...

Karthikeyan is absolutely right..... It requires an attitute of "I WILL NEVER QUIT"... CA is all about patience and determination....
Moreover there are hundreds of opportunities available for CA's.... You can search for opportunities in the field of practice or maybe setup some business/enterprise if your own.... I feel there is potential in many of us to be "job givers" instead of "job seekers".
The knowledge we have gained while studying CA can very well be used for running our own enterprises.. There is tremendous potential in many industries.. There are many successful entrepreneurs who are CA's and they are running small biz to huge biz empire....
Don't lose hope!! Search for alternative opportunities rather than traditional ones.....
As Dhirubhai Ambani said “For those who dare to dream, there is a whole world to win!”
Sharing some more quotes of DHIRUBHAI AMBANI which are really inspiring and relevant to this topic:
“Only when you dream it you can do it.”
“Think big, think fast, think ahead. Ideas are no one’s monopoly”
“The problem with Indians is that we have lost the habit of thinking big!”
“You do not require an invitation to make profits.”
“Keep your morale high, in spite of setbacks. At the end you are bound to succeed.”
“Challenge negative forces with hope, self-confidence and conviction. I believe that ambition and initiative will ultimately triumph.”
“Often people think opportunity is a matter of luck. I believe opportunities are all around us. Some seize it. Others stand and let it pass by.”
“Pursue your goal, even in the face of difficulties. Convert difficulties into opportunities.”
Ca far better than any Professional Course... This ensure us that how deal with different issue emerging in Bussiness world .Whether the issue is relating to Finance,Taxation ,Accounting or any other field.
I really enjoying my CA journey .Nov2012 Ipcc gr1 is my first attempt in ipcc examination .I know its not easy to beat CA exam but the knowledge I get from CA studies is great.
"Convert your 'fear of failure' into 'strength of success'" is the best way to tackle the ca exam .
I choose CA to learn the All-rounder skill of Business Administration and not to earn higher salaries.
I like to tell you that I have read many articles before joining CA about "what is better option CA or MBA". And I have no doubt that MBA is edge over CA as salary is consent but not in case knowledge, statutory power .
I also not know whether I be able to become a CA or not . But when I take a decision I will never regret myself. I believes that it depend upon us to make our decision right.
Thanks

Hey Friend:

Having the prefix before ur name "CA" is itself the greatest thing.
