CA - starting salary

its depend upon the individual to individual but averageley a freshly qualified CA can get more then 30000 p.m as some of my CA qualified friends is getting a salary between 30000 to 70000 p.m in Ludhiana location...

In chennai, anywhere between 4.5Lacs to 5Lacs p.a. will be the average pay in medium sized firms.

if v clear in first attempt den only vl v get gud salary ???

@ Radha...in chennai..as kalpesh said its right ..around 4.5/5 lac pa.

@ gayatri...its true only if u r first attempt u get good salary otherwise anything between Rs.4.5 to 6 lacs...depending upon your work/experience...

As kalpesh already said,,,if u have cleared in first attempt den u could get more than 6lacpa...if u have more attempt den anything in between 4.5 to 6lac pa...if u semiqualified (completed articlse) den anything around  2.40 to 3.60..

@ Gayatri...yes you are true....if working in good firm ,you have to devote 10 to 12 hours per day...and hence you dont get time to study...i was lucky..done articleship in med.size firm..and post qualification had good stuff of experiences..

i want to do job after becoming CA 4r tht in vch firm shud i join can any one suggest
