applicability of law

One reason that i can tell you is --- Article 370 of our Constitution says that any Act enacted will be enforced in J&K only with the consent of J&K government.

Till now , majority of  Acts which has been passed has not recieved its consent from J&K government.. Moreover, J&K is a disputed territory with no efficient control and administration.

Actually J&K is a part of our country since independence ..

They were not the part of hindustan..

After independence when pakistan attacked J&K there king entered into an agreement with india..

that agreement exempts the state from various acts and laws

but as far as i know still EXICE AND CUSTOM LAWS are applicable there..
