26 August 2015 Sir My friend filed my return but not raised refund with the tune of rs 9000/ mistakenly . when intm u/s 143(1) received he filed rectification request but income tax sent me mail after processing that we have not raised demand as original return filed .now he again filed rectification request .I wanted to know that if he has done it correctly then why AO not accepting the rectification request .Please give suggestion.

26 August 2015 please check if the 26AS is showing the same amount as you are saying viz 9000...If the same is shown in 26AS, the Assessing Officer must grant it.
