: Petrol Expenses
Dear Sir I also put a querry in front of all experts but I haven't received any reply from anybody. can u help me sir? My query is, we are paying to our employees for petrol expense reimbursements per month. It is included in their salary package but for IT purpose we are showing it as a reimbursement of petrol for office use only. For that all are submitting petrol bills. Now one of our employee actually paid auto fare for visit to a client and it is local conveyance. Can we pay him the amount of his actual expenses of auto fare, even if we are paying him petrol expenses for local conveyance( for official purpose) for using his car (included in salary)? Hi please tell me accounting treatment for this following events Event 1-A Co. acquires acquires foreign currency ( say USD) in exchange for RS. ( say 1000 $ @ Rs. 50 per $ ) Event 2-Now they release this FC to one of their marketing officer for his foreign tour under imprest system. Say Co released 1000 $. Event 3-One month later after touring the traveller surrendered 100$ and expense sheet for 900$. Event 4 - Co. Exchanges 100 $ for Rs 48 . Please write a/c entries for all 4 events ! thanks -
