About me

I am a retired Assistant Commisioner of Commercial Taxes of Karnataka. I retired in 1998 at the age of 58.During this service I tried to go in detail about sales tax laws. Immeadiately after retirement some companies wanted to retain me as their consultant. That is how my touch with the subject of VAT laws continued.The website of CAclub india is giving a good opportunity to share my knowledge with others. I am an exserviceman from IAF. So, Iam a little different from other taxmen. We should do some service to the community that has offered us so much, That is my purpose.....Bye.

Hello sir can i take the input tax (vat) on expenses such as printing & stationery, Nescafe, bislery water bottles for office use??????? earlier it was not allowed, now a days even the Sales tax department allows it. kindly mail me on pripkd@yahoo.co.in

We have recorded central purchase material received on 4th April 2015 in purchase on the said date, however, seller's invoice is dated 27th March'2015. Sir, could you please inform how to issue C-Form for dt 27th March'2015 to the supplier.?

Hi, I have one Query Regarding Correction in Amount in Challan which has already Filled in Orignal Return with Wrong Amount. Because of this Challan is Matched in NSDL and Unmatched in OLTAS. Because of Wrong Amount Booked in NSDL their is Demand From TRACES. Can You Short out my This Query ???? Thanks in Advance.........

Hi Mr. Krishna Murthy, Our Organisation is working on a financial analysis tool. We want to give customized reports as per different customer segments. Now my query is, who all are the users of MCA "View Pubic Documents" or say "Inspection of company Records". We also would like to have a rough idea on %share of users for these documents. You have to register under VAT as a drugs dealer only. When you buy medicines from other states you can not have a COT registartion....mjk
