Reg:same tin and pan number

This query is : Resolved

20 February 2013 Dear Sir,
we have two firms for which we have same TIN & PAN number. My question is weather they will be considered as seperate firm or one firm.

20 February 2013 Consider as one firm not seperate firm.

20 February 2013 Dear Sir, thank you very much for answer. Again I request you to solve our problem as stated below:
Dear Sir, we have two manufacturing firms in Haridwar and Roorkee with same TIN and PAN number. Now I have three questions regarding exemption on central sales tax in Uttarakhand for which goverrnment provide 1% exemption to all the units for first 5 years and further exemption for next 5 years if the capital involved on plant and machinery is less then 25 crore. 1. Our Haridwar unit had done its first invoice on June 2007 so its rebate was over on June 2012 and Roorkee unit had done on July 2008. My question is weather first 5 year exemption is over for both the units on June 2012 or seperately on June 2012 for Haridwar and July 2013 for Roorkee.
2. To take next five year exemption weather we have to show capital as combined for Haridwar and Roorkee or seperately to take the exemption as both the units have less then 25 crore of capital involved and as combined more then 25 crore.
3. I want to know what this plant and machinery consist of?. weather it is machinery only or plant structure, electrification, land also? Please help in this regard.
