27 December 2013 CAN FULL TIME EMPLOYEE CA, BECOMES REPRESENTATIVE BEFORE INCOME TAX AUTHORITY OR OTHER DEPT.

29 December 2013 yes through a valid Power of attorney made in his/her favor.

30 December 2013 Dear sir,

Thanks for your reply, i want to confirm you opinion, is there any non compliance of professional ethics, as per ca act. 1949. Here that employee ca not hold COP, than how he will entertain representation before statutory authority.

30 December 2013 i believe yes. Refer section 288 of the Income tax Act. eligibility is that you have to be a member of ICAI. Holding of COP is not required.
