Every attempt is a fresh attempt for CA students. There are small practices that go unnoticed; these small practices help in overcoming bigger hurdles easily.
Here are a few tips from the All India Rank Holders who have practiced this diligently and gained success.
1. Attempting for 100 marks
It is advised that CA papers should be attempted for full marks. Answer to all questions is necessary to secure a pass mark in the exam.
2. Appropriate Numbering of the questions
Write the appropriate question number and subquestion number legibly and clearly. This practice helps in rechecking of the answer sheet and also for the evaluator of the paper to award marks for the same. Also, attempt all the sub-questions serially of the main question.
3. Attempt wisely
Answer the questions that you are well prepared first which will boost your confidence and also impress the evaluator. Never scratch or strike out multiple times.
4. Revision on the previous day
The previous day before the exam is the crucial day of preparation. Never attempt to study something new. Revise thoroughly from the Institute Study Material,RTPs and self made notes.
5. Don't let the previous paper performance affect the next paper
Never be disheartened or overconfident of the performance from the previous paper. Each paper is different and requires a different strategy to crack it. If one paper doesn't go well, never lose hope and confidence or if you have performed really well in previous paper never be overconfident. These attitudes affect the next paper.
6. Maintain a decent handwriting
Throughout the paper maintain good handwriting. This comes from practicing to write regularly.
7. Eating healthy and maintaining a good sleep
Health comes before exams. Avoid heavy foods, and sleepless nights before exam. Remember Health is Wealth.
8. Never get carried away by others' preparation
Never compare your study pattern with others’ study pattern. Avoid discussing the paper before and after the exam.
9. Never quote wrong case laws and sections
These simple tricks will surely help in achieving success. All the best!
