ICAI has designed wonderful Personality Development & Communication Skills Programs in the form of Orientation Program and Management & Communication Skills Program to hone the soft skills of CA Students.
These soft skills include Public Speaking, Extempore, Presentation, PowerPoint, Motivation, Preparing CV, Leadership, Interviews, Group Discussion, Extempore and many more. These programs help to unlock the hidden skills inside the students.
What I notice is that many students don't take their Orientation Programme and MCS seriously. They either ignore the activities or try not to participate in them. Even if they have to participate, they do it in a very casual manner thinking that this is a useless activity.
I have experienced an innumerable number of students with shaking legs and quivering voice changing to loud and confident presenters and speakers.
One small appreciation from the faculty or one nice presentation can change your attitude towards looking at your career. You suddenly get a feeling that you can accomplish much more than you thought of.
Don't ignore these programs. They create experiences in life which can be a foundation to your successful career. Unless we do something for the first time, the second time can never come.
Arise!! Awake!! Give your best!!
