In FY 2020-21, Rs. 3.22 lakh crore was sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY).
The target for PMMY in FY 2020-21 was Rs. 3.50 lakh crore.
The scheme missed its national target in FY 2020-21 primarily due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of 31st December 2021, over 32.53 crore loans have been extended under PMMY since its inception in April 2015.

The government has introduced online applications via psbloansin59minutes and udyamimitra portals, digital lending options, publicity campaigns, simplified forms, and nominated Mudra Nodal Officers.
