Provisional Accounts for 2011-12 were released today. As per the Provisional accounts:
· Fiscal deficit for 2011-12 is 5.76% of GDP vis-a-vis RE 11-12 of 5.9%;
· Revenue deficit for 2011-12 is 4.34% of GDP vis-a-vis RE 11-12 of 4.4%;
· Effective Revenue deficit for 2011-12 is 2.85 % of GDP vis-a-vis RE 11-12 of 2.9%;
