MCA's clarification on new companies incorporated through SPICe+ with EPFO/ESI

New companies incorporated through SPICe+ and thereby have obtained EPFO/ESI numbers will have to file statutory returns only when they cross thresholds prescribed under the relevant Acts.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs notified the SPICe+ web form for the purpose of ease of doing business. The SPICe+ web form aims to reduce the procedures, time, and cost for all new company incorporation. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs further gave a clarification that the new companies incorporated through SPICe+ and have thereby obtained EPFO/ESI numbers will have to file statutory returns only when they cross the thresholds prescribed under the relevant Acts.
