The 35th GST Council meeting will be held on 21st June 2019. This will be the first GST Council meeting after the elections under the reign of Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
It is one of the most important GST Council meetings eyeing a lot of expectations from the industry, being held only two weeks prior to the Union Budget 2019-20.
In this meeting, among other topics, there will be discussion on proposal to levy 18 percent GST on extra-neutral alcohol (ENA), used for manufacturing alcoholic liquor for human consumption.
