The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has released new foreign currency exchange rates that are effective from January 8, 2021. These updated rates are used for converting foreign currencies to Indian Rupees, or vice versa, for both imported and exported goods. This supersedes the previous notification from December 17, 2020.
