wrong assessment year in tds challan

After depositing my tax at the bank, I have noticed that I have mentioned the Assessment Year/Minor Head incorrectly in my challan. Whom do I approach to have this corrected?

i have mentioned in tds challan wrong assessment year,one of my friend told me that the same should be rectify by the assessing officer ,so plz for the same any one provide me the draft application or other draft document required therein to present my case in front of the concerned assessing officers.

plz reply me as soon as possible ,itz urgent.

Just write out a letter to the AO and furnish evidence along with the letter for your claim.  It is as simple as that.

I have face the same problems the wrong A.Y entered in the on line  tax challan Please suggest me the right way
