Transportation problem
Folks, i am solving problems in this chapter, for e.g, i have converted profit matrix to loss matrix for ease of solving problem, i have solved the entire problem i.e, Initial basic feasible solution (by VAM) and optimality test (by UV method), the answer is perfectly matching (i mean allocated cell values and non allocated cell values) , but still i could not match my final cost with institute's cost. Do we need to again convert it after optimality or what would be the procedure for this..kindly reply

If you are solving question from study material or practice manual than pls provide que. no./pg no. to solve your query as in some questions there are mistakes in their solutions
Illustration 6 P.No 11.27.. I think we have to multiply allocations with original values
