I have recd. Tax Demand U/s 143 (1) for A.Y 01-02 , whereby there was a refund . I have checked with the IT Office and got the same rectified and the refund so due to me was credited to my account. But still in ONLINE Login CPC Banglore the Tax Demand still persisits. What action should be taken so that this demand doesn't appear on online site , as my future TDS credits would get adjusted against this demand. I have followed it up at my Ward office with number of letters but no help.
Please Suggest.
