It is illegal to possess or use more than one TAN. Different branches/ divisions of an entity may, however, have separate TAN and have to comply with guideline.

You need to apply for TANs for all branches if the person/authority who collects TDS/TCS is different.g\Go to your nearest TIN facilitation centre and take the help of the officials there regarding procedure to get more than one TAN. Because online for for more than one TAN may be rejected as already one TAN is there in your company name.
