Strategy for preparation of ca final dt paper for may 2015

Please tell me the strategy for preparation of CA FINAL DT Paper as large number of students fail in DT during May attempt as per the trend. Is it compulsory to learn the names of all the case laws as it is a wastage of time and no time left for preparation of main important topics and amendments as VG sir also said this. What will be the weightage of amendments this time as large number of amendments are there in May attempt.I find it difficult to learn the names of all the case laws.
