Senior Citizen not willing to file return
Please advise, if a senior citizen whose income is well within the exemption limit previously filing returns & now not willing to file, whether there is any liability to inform to the IT Department? The income includes Income from BP & the business is not closed.

No information is required to be given.
Return filing is voluntary in this case.

Yes Mr. Umesh any individual( i.e. senior citizen also) whose GTI is less than exemption limit is not required to file return.
