I would like to know what is search report in case of companies. With respect to credit facilities, for annual review of accounts a bank has asked to furnish few documents along with search report.

search report is a report given by a PCS .. about borrowings of company, charges created by company
whether the said borrowings is under 180(1)(c) if not... appropriate permission is taken (,SR in GM) , any default was made in repayment of loans etc.... it gives a bank or FI an idea whether to give funds to the company or not
