One of our clients is planning to send one employee to Sri Lanka to improve the business in that country. But that employee is asking to deposit his salary in Indian Bank Account . The client is asking that whether company can deposit his salary in Indian Bank Account. Since that employee will be working in Sri Lanka and if salary is depositing in Indian Bank Account, is there any violation of FEMA in this?
Not sure but anytime somebody is on foreign deputation from our company his indian salary get deposited in his account by default & for foreign expenses he get gets the local currency there so this is how it is. Deputation duration was 1 month to 1 yr.
