Result withheld

Suppose I am absent for one exam in may 2014.Will my rresult be withheld ?? And can I attemp in Nov 2014 ??

A result may be held due to some discrepancy in the documents submitted or if revalidation fees not paid or when candidate's eligibility to appear in the exam is disputable etc. On your second question, if your validity to appear in the examination is in order and even if you absent from appearing in a single paper or all the paper will not make any difference and in this case you will be declared failed.
