There is a procedure to claim the refund else you can also claim cenvat credit of the same for certain domestic operations which is much easier.

If you have to pay SERVICE TAX you can adjust the Credit . If you are not in the SERVICE TAX NET you go for Refund
Does the statute allow carry forward/refund of unutilised cenvat credit at the year end ??
