How to calculate bonus if an employee has not worked for all the days in a month. But even then his wages are more han Rs. 3500.

Generally a bonus payments are distributed to employees for various reasons: it may be given as a reward and have a set amount, or it may be given at intervals or specific times of the year and be based upon company performance. The minimum bonus is 8.33% and maximum is 20%.

I already know this. My question is certain different. Please read it again and then reply if you know the answer.

The question is that suppose if an employee has worked for only 15 days but despite this his actual wages are more than Rs. 3500, is it necessary to pay him the full bonus amount, or proportionate bonus payment is allowable.
